HIRE A RMV LAWYER TO FIGHT YOUR MASSACHUSETTS LICENSE SUSPENSION

The Driver Control Unit of the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles sends out approximately 1,500 suspension letters on a daily basis. These license suspensions can be for anything from 7 surchargeable events, drug convictions, being a habitual traffic offender, drunk driving, breathalyzer refusals, operating under the influence (OUI), reckless driving, road rage, accidents, leaving the scene of an accident, National Driver Register (NDR) blocks, out of state issues, license fraud, identity theft, ignition interlock violations, being declared an immediate threat to public safety, or any of the other approximately 65 reasons to lose your driver’s license or right to operate in Massachusetts.

• APPEAL YOUR MASS. LICENSE SUSPENSION •

The Driver Control Unit of the Mass. RMV generally does a good job when it comes to applying the law and imposing license suspensions. However, not all of the hundreds of thousands of license suspensions which the Mass. RMV imposes are valid. Some licenses are suspended based on a legal error, factual mistake, or an improper procedure. For the past several years, Attorney Brian E. Simoneau has successfully appealed a large number of Massachusetts license suspensions and revocations. He has routinely obtained full license reinstatements, suspension reductions, and hardship licenses for his deserving clients. He has successfully challenged and appealed license suspensions at all levels of the Massachusetts legal system including the Registry of Motor Vehicles, District Court, Board of Appeal, Superior Court, the Massachusetts Appeals Court, and the Mass. Supreme Judicial Court, which is the state’s highest court. He is a co-editor of the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) Publication: Obtaining, Losing, and Seeking Reinstatement of Driver’s Licenses.

In today’s society, the loss of a license can be devastating. Our busy lifestyles and the general lack of public transpiration in many areas of Massachusetts makes having a valid driver’s license a necessity. Fortunately, there are lawyers who specialize in license suspensions and revocations.

If the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles Division of MassDOT has suspended or revoked your license or right to drive in Massachusetts, contact a lawyer for a consultation and review of your case. The initial consultation is free and an experienced attorney will review your case and tell you exactly where you stand. You may be needlessly suffering through an illegal license suspension and a lawyer may be able to get you back on the road.
